Negotiations on expanding economic cooperation between Armenia and the autonomous community of Catalonia, Spain, were held in Barcelona.
Armenia’s Ambassador to Spain, Sos Avetisyan, met with the leadership of Fomento del Trabajo Nacional, Catalonia’s largest employers’ association, to discuss concrete steps for enhancing bilateral trade relations.
During the talks with the union’s Director of International Cooperation and Director of Institutional Relations and Trade, the parties outlined plans to organize reciprocal visits of business delegations. According to Armenia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, special emphasis was placed on establishing direct connections between Armenian and Catalan companies.
Fomento del Trabajo Nacional, as Catalonia’s oldest and most influential employers’ organization representing the interests of the local business community, is considered a key partner in fostering trade and economic ties.
