Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has announced significant progress in implementing the country's balanced foreign policy, emphasizing improved relations with key international partners. The statement was made on his official Facebook page.
In a detailed message, the Prime Minister highlighted unprecedented levels of practical cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran, grounded in mutually beneficial interests. Strategic partnership with Georgia, according to Pashinyan, is unlocking new development opportunities, while relations with Turkey have seen the establishment of a visible foundation for mutual understanding.
Pashinyan also addressed the situation with Azerbaijan, noting that Armenia has proposed constructive solutions to all outstanding issues. He underscored the illegitimacy of any attempts to escalate tensions in the region, expressing confidence in their failure.
Regarding global powers, Pashinyan stated that Armenia's engagement with Russia has reached a highly practical level, focusing on specific issues devoid of emotional overtones. Armenia intends to develop these relations based on mutual benefit and respect for sovereignty.
The Prime Minister also highlighted strengthened ties with France, unprecedentedly close cooperation with the European Union, and the initiation of a strategic partnership with the United States. Additionally, he pointed to deepened relations with Asian partners, particularly India and China, as well as emerging opportunities for collaboration in the Middle East.
According to Pashinyan, these achievements provide a solid foundation for ensuring the independence, sovereignty, and resilience of the Armenian state.
