In the first quarter of 2025, Armenia will host a meeting of the Joint Board of Customs Services of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member states, focused on simplifying customs procedures.

According to the press office of Armenia's State Revenue Committee (SRC), an Armenian delegation led by SRC Deputy Chairman Ashot Muradyan participated in the board's recent session. During the session, 20 resolutions were reviewed and signed, covering various areas of customs operations.

Special attention was given to the classification of specific goods under the EAEU’s foreign economic activity commodity nomenclature, procedures for intermodal container transportation, and customs clearance for vehicles owned by individuals.

The session also approved the work plans of expert groups for 2025 and discussed processes related to customs operations involving cash handling.

The next session of the Joint Board will take place in Armenia, continuing efforts to harmonize customs procedures across the EAEU.
