Armenian Airlines has announced the launch of a direct flight route between the capitals of Armenia and India. This decision aims to enhance connectivity between the two countries and potentially boost tourism and business relations.

The new route will commence on November 15, with flights operating twice a week on an Airbus 321-200, which has a capacity of 220 passengers. The minimum one-way ticket price is set at $170. Tickets for these new flights are already available for purchase on the official Armenian Airlines website.

The launch of direct flights between Yerevan and New Delhi is seen by experts as an important step in improving transportation links between Armenia and India. It is expected to not only facilitate travel for tourists and businesspeople but also strengthen economic and cultural ties between the two countries.

According to BMG, citing Indian Aerospace Defense News, an air corridor has been established from India to Armenia for strategic exports. Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) and Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) have jointly formed a working group called HALCON. The aim of this group is to enhance logistics between India and Armenia.
