Armenia's exports to the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) member countries grew by 2.8 times in 2022 to $1.6 billion, the Eurasian Development Bank said.
Overall, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan increased exports to the EEU by $9.8 billion. (1.4 times YoY), including exports to Russia by $9.5 billion.
Exports of Belarus to the EEU increased by $5.6 billion (1.3 times), those of Kazakhstan by 1.2 times to $1.9 billion and Kyrgyzstan's exports grew by 1.9 times to $646 million.
The significance of the EEU market for Armenia and Kyrgyzstan has increased. The share of EEU countries in total Armenian exports increased from 29.3% to 46.8%, while in Kyrgyzstan - from 28.8% to 65.8%.
According to the bank analysts' estimates, the mutual trade of the EEU reached its maximum value of $80.6bln in 2022 (10.3% growth YoY), ARKA reports.
