On Tuesday, May 25, Armenian Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan participated in the annual general meeting of the Chamber of Auditors and Expert Accountants of Armenia, accredited by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Armenia.
According to the Ministry of Finance's press service, the minister welcomed the auditors, expert accountants, and representatives of auditing organizations attending the meeting. Vahe Hovhannisyan emphasized the importance of the state effectively fulfilling the functions delegated to the chamber.
The minister noted that the professional community's views on the development of accounting and auditing and the state policy in these areas are aligned, which indicates effective cooperation between the state and the representatives of the professional community.
During the meeting, the chairman of the chamber, Tatul Movsisyan, presented the report on the chamber's activities for 2023, which was approved by the members of the chamber.
