In his New Year’s address to the nation, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan highlighted the achievements of the past year, focusing on the implementation of the "Real Armenia" concept and historic changes in national security. According to the Prime Minister, 2024 was the most peaceful and stable year in the past two decades, creating a strong foundation for the country’s continued development.

Pashinyan identified the successful demarcation of the Berakaber-Kirants-Voskepar border section, initiated in April-May 2024, as the year’s key achievement. Despite criticism, he described this milestone as a "success story" and a cornerstone of state security. The Prime Minister particularly emphasized the demarcated Kirants section, encouraging citizens to see the results for themselves.

A significant portion of Pashinyan's address was devoted to the "Real Armenia" concept, which encompasses a territory of 29,743 square kilometers. He stressed that this ideology should guide not only the authorities but also every Armenian citizen. According to him, the state must serve as a tool for ensuring security, prosperity, and development while preserving national identity.

Delivering his seventh New Year’s address as Prime Minister, Pashinyan acknowledged that many of the existing challenges in foreign and domestic policy, economics, and governance stem from an ideological void and insufficient preparedness. He proposed education and increased labor activity as the solutions to these issues.

Looking ahead, Pashinyan stated that Armenia is entering 2025 in a more stable and secure environment than ever before. He attributed the achieved level of independence and sovereignty to the successful implementation of the "Real Armenia" strategy, as well as advancements in education, employment, and societal transformation. He expressed hope that these achievements will form the basis for an even more peaceful future in the years and decades to come.

Concluding his address, the Prime Minister acknowledged the persistent problems across various communities and settlements but expressed confidence in their gradual resolution. He emphasized that Armenia stands at a crucial historical crossroads, where the strategic choices of its citizens will determine the resolution of all other issues.
