Armenian Resorts Record Unprecedented Hotel Occupancy During New Year Holidays

Armenia’s ski resorts and tourist hubs experienced an unprecedented surge in domestic tourism during the New Year period. This was announced by Lusine Gevorgyan, Chair of Armenia’s Tourism Committee, on her Facebook page.

According to Gevorgyan, hotels in Jermuk, Tsaghkadzor, Gyumri, and several other cities were nearly 100% booked. She noted that the campaign promoting domestic tourism, "New Year in Armenia," proved to be a success, with many residents choosing to spend the holidays in regional areas.

Gevorgyan expressed gratitude to her compatriots for contributing to the country’s economy by supporting domestic tourism.
