Armenian winemaking companies participated in the annual international wine exhibition Vinexpo New York 2024, according to the press service of the Ministry of Economy of Armenia.
For the first time in the US, 18 Armenian winemaking companies took part in Vinexpo America, presenting more than 60 types of wine in a unified pavilion, thanks to the initiative and support of the Ministry of Economy of Armenia and the Armenian Viticulture and Winemaking Foundation.
Deputy Minister of Economy Arman Khojoyan and Executive Director of the Viticulture and Winemaking Foundation Zaruhi Muradyan were also present at the exhibition.
On June 24 and 25, Armenian winemakers held a series of meetings with tasters, sommeliers, and business representatives from the wine industry.
The United States, the largest wine-importing country in the world by both volume and value, hosted more than 440 winemaking companies from 32 wine-producing countries and approximately 3,000 visitors at the exhibition.
