Armenia's economic activity index increased by 8.1% in January-October 2024 compared to the same period last year. The trade sector showed the highest growth, rising by 18.8%.
Significant increases were also observed in construction (15.5%) and industry (11.7%). The services sector recorded more moderate growth at 5.8%.
External trade demonstrated particularly impressive dynamics, with total trade turnover up by 67.6%, including a 95.1% increase in exports and a 50.8% rise in imports.
Despite the substantial economic growth, consumer prices remained stable during this period, indicating a sustainable nature of the economic expansion.
