Armenia Airways is finalizing the registration process for a Boeing 737-300SF cargo aircraft, marking its entry into the cargo transportation market. The airline's press service announced the development on Monday.
According to Armenia Airways representatives, the initial phase of the aircraft registration has been completed, and the process is proceeding as planned. The airline, headquartered at Zvartnots International Airport in Yerevan, currently operates two passenger Boeing 737-300 aircraft.
Notably, Armenia Airways, founded in 2013, began active operations only in 2018. The addition of a cargo aircraft to its fleet may signal the company’s expansion and its move into the cargo transportation sector.
