According to the National Statistical Committee of Armenia, the country's foreign trade turnover reached a record $30.2 billion in 2024, marking a 41.5% increase compared to 2023.
Armenian exports saw significant annual growth, rising by 53.1% to $13.1 billion (5.2 trillion drams). Imports also experienced a substantial increase, reaching $17.1 billion (6.7 trillion drams), up 33.8% from 2023.
However, in December 2024, foreign trade activity saw a notable decline, with total turnover dropping by 37.3% compared to December 2023.
Exports fell by 48.6%, while imports decreased by 26.5%. Compared to November 2024, there was also a decline: foreign trade turnover dropped by 4.4%, exports by 1.3%, and imports by 6.5%.
