According to Armenia’s Statistical Committee, the country’s foreign trade turnover reached $24.13 billion from January to September 2024, a 73.5% increase compared to the same period last year.
In September, the figure grew by 22.4% year-over-year, though it declined by 13% compared to August.
The Statistical Committee reported that Armenian exports more than doubled over the nine-month period, reaching $10.78 billion. In September, exports rose by 38.9% year-over-year, although they decreased by 13.1% from August.
Imports also showed significant growth, increasing by 54.2% over the reporting period to $13.35 billion. In September, imports were up 11.9% year-over-year but fell by 12.9% compared to the previous month.
Despite some monthly declines, likely due to seasonal factors, Armenia’s overall foreign trade momentum remains positive, with export growth particularly notable.
