Armenia's gross domestic product (GDP) is expected to increase by $10.5 billion over the next five years, according to a report by the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
According to IMF experts, Armenia's GDP in 2024 is projected to be 10.4 trillion drams ($25.2 billion). In 2025, GDP is expected to grow to 11.3 trillion drams ($26.9 billion), in 2026 – to 12.3 trillion drams ($28.9 billion), in 2027 – to 13.4 trillion drams ($31 billion), in 2028 – to 14.6 trillion drams ($33.3 billion), and in 2029, GDP is expected to reach 15.8 trillion drams ($35.8 billion).
Previously, BMG reported that Armenia's nominal GDP in current prices for 2023 amounted to approximately 9.5 trillion drams, or nearly $23.5 billion. The GDP per capita at market prices was about 3.2 million drams, or $8,168.
