In the first ten months of 2024, Armenia's industrial output reached $5.98 billion, reflecting an 11.7% increase compared to the same period in 2023, according to the Statistical Committee.

In October, industrial production amounted to $687 million, up by 5.3% year-over-year and by 10.9% compared to September 2024. The manufacturing sector, which accounts for 70.9% of total industrial output, recorded the most substantial growth, producing $4.24 billion worth of goods—a 17.3% increase year-over-year.

Meanwhile, the mining and quarrying sector, contributing 16.4% of total industrial production, experienced a decline of 8.1%, generating $983 million. The electricity, gas, and steam supply sector, with an 11.6% share, increased its production by 12.4% to $694 million. The water supply, sewerage, and waste management sector, accounting for 1.1% of total industrial output, grew by 5.5% to $66 million.

Armenia's industrial sector shows strong growth, particularly in manufacturing and energy production, despite challenges in mining and quarrying.
