Armenia's Unified Social Service (USS) has published updated data on the labor market as of October 1, 2024. The statistics show significant dynamics in both employment and engagement with employers.
According to the agency, 60,800 job seekers have been registered in USS territorial centers. A notable achievement is the employment of 10,290 people. Additionally, since the beginning of the year, the unemployed status of 16,923 citizens has been terminated.
Special attention is given to providing advisory support to the population. During the reporting period, 66,200 individuals received professional consultations on labor legislation, career guidance, employment programs, and job changes.
There is also positive momentum in cooperation with employers. USS territorial centers have established partnerships with 19,400 employers, who provided information on 9,913 unique job vacancies.
It is important to note that 1,012 of these are newly created jobs, indicating an expansion of employment opportunities in the country.
