Kristina Kvien, the US Ambassador to the Central Bank of Armenia, welcomed entrepreneurs participating in the annual meeting and business forum of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in 2024.
“Armenia’s rapid economic growth and development has been truly remarkable in recent years. I am very optimistic about the opportunities Armenia offers to U.S. and other foreign firms,” the Ambassador said in her remarks, as reported by the US Embassy's press service in Yerevan.
Earlier, BMG reported that Armenia's economic growth for the 2024 state budget is projected at 7%, with inflation targeted at 4% (±1.5%).
According to the Statistical Committee data, economic activity in Armenia increased by 15.3% in March 2024. Overall, for the first quarter of 2024, this indicator amounted to 14.3%.
