According to the latest data published by the Statistical Committee of Armenia, the trade turnover between Armenia and Georgia showed moderate growth in the first half of 2024. Compared to the same period last year, the trade volume between the two countries increased by 2.7%, reaching $131.7 million.

A detailed analysis of the trade flows revealed some interesting trends. Exports from Armenia to Georgia amounted to $74 million during the reporting period, which is 2.7% lower than in January-June of the previous year. However, this decline was offset by a significant increase in imports from Georgia to Armenia, which grew by 10.6%, reaching $57.6 million.

Despite the positive trend, it is worth noting that trade with Georgia still represents a relatively small share of Armenia's foreign trade turnover. In the first six months of 2024, it accounted for only 0.7% of the country's total foreign trade volume.
