Georgia will consider the introduction of Johnson & Johnson and Novavax vaccines in the third quarter in two ways. Tamar Gabunia, the Deputy Minister of Health stated about it today at the press conference held at the Ministry.

The Johnson & Johnson vaccine can be delivered in two ways - 1) through the COVAX 2) through direct communication with the office of the manufacturer in Kazakhstan; They will discuss our interest and contact us with a specific proposal shortly.
A call to Novavax's US headquarters is also scheduled for next week to agree on the prospects we can have through direct negotiations. Besides, Novavax will already be on the COVAX platform and it can enter the country this way as well," Tamar Gabunia said.
