Company Aversi plans to develope a new multi-functional medical, educational, administrative and commercial facility on the territory of the Infectious Disease Hospital on Kazbegi Avenue.

Aversi has already applied to the Agency of Transport and Urban Development with the planning task of regulating the development of the territory. It is clear from the uploaded documentation that the area will be divided into three project plots.

A block will be built on the first plot, where a medical complex, a hotel designed for medical tourism and an administrative part will be located. The block consists of 10- and 35-story buildings.

Two 6-storey blocks will be placed on the second plot, where the medical/clinical complex will be placed.

A medical complex, a university, an administrative part and a residential block (campus) will be arranged on the third plot. In this case, the buildings will have 10 floors.

Paata Kurtanidze, the founder of pharmaceutical company "Aversi", told BM.GE a few months ago, that the area of the "Aversi" clinic building, where the infectious disease hospital has been functioning until now, would be used only for medical purposes after its transfer to the new building.

The infectious disease hospital building located on Alexander Kazbegi Avenue in Tbilisi has been in private ownership since 2009. Its owner is "Aversi Pharma", which purchased the mentioned area from the state for USD 12.5 million 12 years ago, but despite this, the owner cannot use the existing building.
