“The advance booking period for Baku–Tbilisi–Baku train tickets is to be extended from 30 to 90 days,” according to Azer Farajov, the Head of the Passenger Transportation Department at Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY).
Farajov noted that Azerbaijan Railways tickets can be purchased both online and directly at station ticket offices.
He further explained that due to exceptionally high demand on the Baku–Tbilisi–Baku route, tickets currently sell out very quickly. To accommodate passenger needs, an additional carriage was attached to the trains on this route on June 11, and these new tickets are already on sale.
