Bank of Georgia CEO Archil Gachechiladze says customers will see digital transformation across multiple banking services in 2027, with artificial intelligence expected to play an increasingly important role in the sector.
Speaking to journalists at the Tbilisi Financial Summit, Gachechiladze said Georgia has a dynamic banking sector where technology is advancing rapidly, driven by both major banks and fintech companies.
He described the summit as an opportunity for central banks and financial sector participants across the region to exchange experience and discuss technological developments.
According to Gachechiladze, financial services will be among the sectors adopting AI particularly quickly in the coming year. He said the primary goal is to improve service quality and make banking faster and more convenient for customers.
