Today the Banking Association of Georgia and the Union of Banks of Armenia signed Memorandum of Understanding
The Purpose of the Memorandum is to develop and deepen relationships between banking sectors of Georgia and Armenia.
The Chairman of the Union of Banks of Armenia, Daniel Azatyan and Chief of Staff of the Union of Banks of Armenia Kristine Beglaryan visited Banking Association of Georgia.
The Banking Association team presented the structure, best practices and strategic directions of the association to guests. Meeting participants discussed potential shared projects and the expansion of business partnerships.
Meeting participants also discussed opportunities of experiences sharing, especially in the fields, where Georgian banking sector is advanced, such as - digitalization, cybersecurity, open banking, ESG, corporate social responsibility and other.
It is worth mentioning, that during 2024, for collaboration and experience sharing purposes, Banking Association of Georgia has been hosting banking associations and banking sector representative from several different countries.
