Basisbank Loan Portfolio Exceeds GEL 2 Billion

The results of Q2 2023 are in: Basisbank's assets amount to GEL 3.2 billion. Total loan portfolio of Basisbank has exceeded GEL 2.2 billion, up by as much as GEL 156 million compared to the same period of the previous year.

The loan portfolio of legal entities exceeded GEL 1.44 billion. Portfolio growth in Q2 was 9%. Basisbank ranks among the top three banks in terms of business lending. At the end of Q2, the amount of loans to individuals amounted to GEL 765 million.

Basisbank’s deposit portfolio increased by GEL 218 million, compared to the same period of the previous year, to reach GEL 1.9 billion. Annual growth of deposits of legal entities amounted to GEL 144 million, while the deposits of individuals grew by GEL 74 million YoY.

Basisbank recorded the net profit of GEL 33.5 million as of June 30.

Basisbank also did an excellent job expanding its network in Q2, opening a new, front-line branch in Borjomi that provides full banking services to both individuals and legal entities. (Address: 113a, Rustaveli Street, Borjomi).
