The beach season in Armenia officially started on July 1. The Ministry of Ecology of Armenia announced that six free public beaches have begun operating in Sevan National Park. These beaches are equipped with changing rooms, showers, sunshades, and playgrounds to ensure the comfort of visitors.
Medical stations are set up on the beaches, and the Water Patrol Service staff are working in an enhanced mode to maintain public order and safety. The Ministry of Internal Affairs urges citizens and tourists who choose Lake Sevan for their vacation to follow the rules for operating watercraft and to respect public order.
Lake Sevan has traditionally been a popular destination for both locals and tourists. This year, the authorities have paid special attention to creating convenient and safe conditions at the public beaches. According to the Ministry of Ecology, these measures are expected to attract more visitors and make their stay more pleasant and secure.
