BLC Law has officially expanded into Uzbekistan, marking a new step in the firm’s international growth strategy. Managing partner Keti Kvartskhava announced the move on BMGTV, noting that the decision followed years of research and careful monitoring of potential markets across Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
According to Kvartskhava, Uzbekistan’s demographic and economic potential was a decisive factor. With a population of around 40 million and an ongoing wave of reforms, the country aims to strengthen its role in the global economy. “There is an expectation of rapid economic growth here, and that is why this market is particularly interesting for us,” she explained.
She emphasized that BLC’s professional background makes it well-positioned to support Uzbekistan’s evolving legal and business environment. The firm has significant experience in reform processes, legislative initiatives, cooperation with international financial institutions, and cross-border transactions in Georgia. Kvartskhava said this expertise is directly applicable to Uzbekistan, where demand for legal services aligned with international standards is growing rapidly.
Looking ahead, BLC Law also plans to continue its international expansion. Kvartskhava revealed that the firm is currently evaluating three additional markets, including at least one in Eastern Europe, with details to be announced soon. She stressed that the firm’s goal is not only to enter new markets but to deliver relevant services, support reforms, and create long-term value for clients in each country.
