Georgian design brand BlueTabla is preparing for international expansion and intends to open its first physical store in London within the next few years. The company’s marketing manager, Nini Tkemaladze, told BM.GE, which is already entering the UK market, backed by half a million GEL in investments.

According to Tkemaladze, BlueTabla products are now available on both Amazon’s global platform and the brand’s official international website. The long-term goal is to move from online-only operations to a permanent retail location:

“Our aim is to transition from online sales to a physical space and open BlueTabla's first store in London. We see the physical store opening within the next 2–3 years,” she said.

The company has already launched a warehouse facility in the UK, enabling faster delivery services for customers. With the support of Amazon Prime, BlueTabla now offers next-day shipping, which has helped boost sales. The brand’s strategic vision is to position Georgian cultural heritage and modern design as a recognizable symbol on the global market, while continuing to expand production and its product range.

Demand is rising both locally and internationally. Based on the company’s UK market experience, BlueTabla is now evaluating further expansion:

“We are actively working toward entry into European and U.S. markets. We plan to collaborate with partners and logistics centers to make Georgian products even more accessible worldwide,” Tkemaladze noted.

The brand is also diversifying its offerings. BlueTabla has recently introduced a children’s line, inspired by Georgian fairy tales.

“The children's direction is a new and emotional milestone for us. Our collection, previously focused on carpets, pillows, and blankets, now includes tableware inspired by Georgian fairy tales. Prices remain within the same affordable range,” she added.

BlueTabla continues to grow, aiming to strengthen its international presence while maintaining its core mission: showcasing Georgian artistry and design to the world.
