Taxi company Bolt will increase ride fares in Georgia by 12% across all categories starting September 18, 2026, according to information published on the company’s website. The change will not apply to minimum fares.

Bolt said the decision was based on market data and was intended to support the income of its partner drivers. The company cited rising fuel and vehicle maintenance costs, along with other day-to-day expenses, as factors affecting drivers’ earnings.

“We continuously monitor market data, and based on this monitoring, we decided to increase fares. We believe this is a necessary step to support your income,” Bolt said in a statement to partner drivers.

The company added that ensuring decent earnings for partner drivers has always been a priority and will remain so. It thanked drivers for their work and wished them safe trips and profitable working days.
