Koba Abuladze, director of Hotel Borjomi-Likani declares, that current tourist season is developing at a better pace compared to last year. He told BM.GE about this while assessing the hotel's occupancy rate.
According to him, the number of bookings has increased by 10%.
"In terms of bookings, we have a positive picture. Based on the existing bookings, we can say that this summer period will be better compared to the last year," Abuladze said.
As of him, about two-thirds of the hotel's guests are foreigners, mainly from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Israel.
In addition, the hotel director speaks of a decline in business tourism. Abuladze notes that the demand for conferences has decreased from both the public and private sectors.
According to him, the hotel has adjusted the prices and currently, one night’s accommodation with breakfast costs over one hundred sixty USD.
