Black Sea Petroleum (BSP) has received a second shipment of Libyan-origin crude oil. The tanker FRANKOPAN arrived at the Kulevi Black Sea Terminal on Septemeber 25, carrying approximately 90,000 metric tonnes of crude oil.
According to information provided to BMG, BSP is also expected to receive a third shipment of Libyan-origin crude oil in late October. The successive deliveries point to a consistent and diversified supply pattern of non-Russian crude to the Kulevi Oil Refinery.
The first cargo of Libyan-origin crude arrived in Georgia on August 30 aboard the tanker KRITI LEGEND. The shipments are being delivered under a crude oil supply agreement BSP signed with an international trading company, covering the period through the end of 2027.
Before the Libyan shipments, the refinery had already begun receiving and processing Kazakh-origin crude oil in July.
