In 11M2024, the Georgian government received GEL 586 million in revenue from fuel excise taxes, - according to a report published by the Treasury of the Ministry of Finance.
As of the document, this revenue increased by 58 million GEL or 11%, compared to the previous year.
During the same period, Georgia purchased 1.43 million tons of petroleum products worth USD 1.2 billion (an increase of 13%), of which USD 472 million came from Russia, USD 154 million from Bulgaria, USD 150 million from Romania, USD 76 million from Azerbaijan, and USD 70 million - from Turkey.
Budget Revenues By Fuel Types:
* Gasoline - 307 million GEL, an increase of 11% compared to the previous year;
* Diesel - 241 million GEL, an increase of 11% compared to the previous year;
* Other petroleum products - 39 million GEL, an increase of 9% compared to the previous year.
