Castello Mare Hotel & Wellness Resort in Tsikhisdziri is seeing growing demand for the 2025 summer season, with advance bookings increasing steadily, according to Executive Director Zanda Meskhidze. While the hotel is not yet fully booked, she said occupancy levels are expected to strengthen further as the season progresses.
Speaking to BM.GE, Meskhidze said the resort is actively booked throughout most of the season and is benefiting from demand across several international markets. Poland remains one of the strongest source markets, supported by the hotel’s all-inclusive offering and ongoing cooperation with Polish partners, which is expected to bring Polish visitors throughout the season.
Domestic travelers account for around 60% of the hotel’s guests, providing a stable source of demand. At the same time, interest from Kazakhstan and Germany has increased following the company’s participation in tourism exhibitions and B2B meetings in recent years. Castello Mare has already secured bookings from Germany and is receiving growing inquiries and visits from Kazakhstan. Interest has also emerged from China, although that market remains at an early stage of development.
The hotel reported moderate growth in business activity, with occupancy increasing by around 5% in May and approximately 3% in June. Room rates have risen by 5-10% depending on category, mainly reflecting higher operating costs. Standard rooms in the main building are priced at around GEL 670 per night during July and August, while all-inclusive packages start from GEL 870. The resort has also upgraded outdoor furniture and expanded its leisure offering with new sea-based activities, including inflatable water attractions. Castello Mare is owned by LLC Karafi.
