According to the CEC, as of 3:00 PM, 991,651 voters had visited polling stations, accounting for 28.22% of the total number of voters.CEC spokesperson Natia Ioselian held another briefing regarding voter turnout in the municipal elections.
“Voting is taking place mainly in a calm and professional environment. A few isolated incidents have been reported, but they will not affect the conduct of the elections.Regarding complaints, although the involved parties are aware of the procedures for submitting them, we are hearing some unsubstantiated accusations. We can once again clarify that there are specific procedures for filing complaints, and these procedures must be strictly followed. As of now, five complaints have been submitted to the district election commissions, mainly concerning the following issues: violations of photo and video recording rules, the arrangement of polling premises, and the registration of voters outside polling stations,” Natia Ioselian stated.
