CEC to complain against decisions of Tetritskaro, Gori Courts in Court of Appeals

ცესკო

The Georgian Central Election Commission (CEC) will complain against the decisions of the Tetritskaro and Gori regional courts in the Court of Appeals.

The Tetritskaro Court judge Vladimer Khuchua on November 4 confirmed the vote secrecy violation in the October 26 elections, annulling the results of the 31 polling stations – 18 in Tsalka and 13 in Tetritskaro.

The CEC said it viewed the decision as “unjustified” saying “it contradicted the decisions made in all cases over the same issue by the courts of first instance.”

The CEC will also complain against the judgement of the Gori Court based on which the election commissions were instructed to re-count the annulled bulletins at 15 polling stations.
