Armenia’s Central Bank has lowered today the refinancing rate by 0.25 percentage points, setting it at 9.5%, the regulator's press service reported.
The regulator has also lowered the Lombard repo rate to 11% and the rate at which commercial banks attract funds from the Central Bank to 8%.
This is the fourth lowering of the refinancing rate since the beginning of the year: On June 13 the Central Bank set it at 10.5%, reducing it by 0.25 percentage points, on August 1 the rate was cut by 0.25 percentage to 10.25% and on September 12 - by 0.5 p.p. to 9.75%, ARKA reports.
