"We cooperated with various tourist shops and cafes. The main part of sales accounts for the tourism sector, and that is why realization is significantly reduced," said Tamta Benashvili, founder of the company CHICOLLI told TV-program Business Morning.
As Benashvili noted, depreciation of lari against other currencies increases the raw material price. However, it affects business, as the company imports raw materials from abroad.
"We are currently working successfully with various corporate clients, but in this situation it is important to review the VAT. This would help us in the continuation of the business in many directions. After the summer, the sales dynamics increased in October-November, we tried to reach an agreement with all organizations to cooperate with us. Now we are trying to increase the share of online sales," Tamta Benashvili said.
CHICOLLI is founded in 2017 and produces handmade chocolate. The company’s products are not sold in the chain markets and they work mainly on corporate orders.
