China's foreign trade rose by 8.6% to 38.34 trillion yuan (about $5.5 trillion) year-on-year in the first 11 months of this year.
According to state news agency Xinhua, the country's exports and imports increased by 11.9%, and 4.6%, respectively, to 21.84 trillion yuan and 16.5 trillion yuan over the same period.
The country's trade balance posted a surplus of some 5.3 trillion yuan ($764 billion) in this period.
China's trade with the EU and US grew by 7% and 4.8% in January-November on a yearly basis.
