Christian Roeder will succeed Julián Fernández as the Managing Director of APM Terminals Poti, Georgia, on June 6, 2024, and will join the company's European Regional Leadership Team.
Mr. Roeder joined the Maersk Group in 2000 as a MISE Trainee. From 2003 to 2011, he worked for Maersk in various countries. Between 2008 and 2009 he was Managing Director of Maersk Georgia, where he acquired a strong personal connection with the people and the country. He has extensive understanding and experience with the terminal's business, customers and stakeholder landscape.

Christian Roeder is German and has lived and worked in Germany, Georgia, Mozambique, and South Africa. He holds a Master of Science degree in Global Human Resource Management from the University of Liverpool.
Throughout his career, he held various senior leadership roles, such as Country Manager of Damco Mozambique, and as Managing Director and Chief Commercial Officer of external transport and logistics companies. Since 2020, Christian has served as the CEO of DP World in Mozambique
