According to Geostat, Georgia paid USD 133.9 thousand for 33.8 tons of cinnamon in 2024, while last year Georgia spent USD 131.6 thousand for 35.3 tons, which indicated a 1.7% increase in price. In terms of volume, this year, cinnamon imports decreased by 4.5%.
As for importing countries, Vietnam is in first place, where Georgia buys cinnamon the cheapest. The most expensive cinnamon was imported from the United Arab Emirates.

Russia is the leader in export markets. Georgia exported 0.2 tons of cinnamon worth USD 2.1 thousand to Russia. 0.1 tons of cinnamon worth USD 2.3 thousand was sold to the USA. In addition, small quantities were sold in Lithuania and the United Kingdom, respectively 0.04 tons worth of USD 0.2 thousand and 0.01 tons worth of USD 0.1 thousand.
