Citizens of Georgia paid income tax of 779.5 million GEL in Q1, 2021, which is 98% of the budget plan.
In 2021, the Government of Georgia aims to collect 3.3 billion GEL from taxes in total. Correspondingly, 24% of the plan is performed in Q1, 2021.
In Q1, 2021, the budget has received 306.7 million GEL from excise taxes, which is 137% of Q1 plan, while 976.4 million GEL is received from VAT, which is 98% of Q1 plan, whereas the revenues received from profit tax have made up 430 million GEL, which is 94.5% of Q1 plan.
In total, 2.66 billion GEL has been collected in the budget from taxes, which is 100.3% of the plan.
The 2021 budget is planned with a 4.3% economic growth.
