Coca-Cola Bottlers Georgia is expanding its production capacity with a new line set to launch at the end of March. The company invested €10 million to install and commission fully modern, high-tech equipment. The new line will produce Fuse Tea iced tea and Cappy juices, increasing overall production capacity 3.5 times.
Founder Temur Chkhonia told BMG TV that the line is technologically advanced, energy-efficient, and ensures minimal product contact with the environment. Installation began in late 2024, and foreign specialists are currently finalizing the setup. Once operational, the plant workforce will grow by 20 employees, exceeding 350 staff.
Marco Mosti, representative of technological company Sidel, leading a five-person team on the line setup, noted that at full capacity, the line can fill 24,000 half-liter bottles per day, with additional production for 300 ml bottles of iced tea and juices.
Chkhonia added that the expansion will strengthen the company’s export presence. Coca-Cola Bottlers Georgia is finalizing a contract to supply 5 million boxes of drinks to Kazakhstan this summer, helping address seasonal shortages and integrating the company into Coca-Cola’s international supply network.
