Coffee has risen by 50% in Georgia this year. According to Geostat, this year, in January-July, Georgia imported 4,226 tons of coffee worth 30.3 million USD, while last year, the figure stood at 4,399 tons worth 20.9 million USD. The data shows that coffee imports have decreased in volume, but Georgia paid about 10 million USD more for it.
The largest importer of coffee for Georgia this year is Indonesia. Russia is in second place, and Vietnam is in third place.

As for exports, coffee exports have also increased in January-July of this year. However, its quantity is small compared to imports. In particular, in 7 months, 229 tons of coffee worth 1.5 million USD left the country, while last year, in the same period, 157 tons of coffee worth 911,600 USD were exported. The main exporting country is Armenia, which this year exports 215 tons and 1.1 million USD of coffee.
