Furniture and door manufacturing company Ifani plans to launch production of wooden toys in cooperation with Turkish investors, in 2022, - according to Zurab Shubitidze, the founder and director of the company.
As he declares, production of the wooden toys from local raw materials will start in 2022, with an investment of up to USD 2 million.
"There is a large amount of raw materials for the production of toys in Georgia, so from 2022 we want to start production of wooden toys from ecologically clean wood. Negotiations on this issue are underway with Turkish investors. After enactment of the EU-Georgia-Turkey diagonal cumulation agreement, it became favorable for Turkish businessmen to start production in Georgia and then export their products to EU countries. Consequently, they are interested in cooperating with us.
Today our company is equipped with all the equipment and small funds will be needed to fully operate the new line," - said the founder of Ifani.
