According to the report, in August 2021, the total market revenue of Tbilisi AirBnb was 60% lower than in 2019.
In contrast to Airbnb, hotel occupancy has improved relatively, with the average occupancy rate being 67%, according to TBC Capital. More specifically, the level of a number of rooms in Tbilisi hotels in August was 73% (79% in 2019), and the average number of rooms in the seaside - 64% (75% in 2019).
As for room prices, the standard room price in August 2021 was reduced by 12% compared to the same period in 2019.
