According to the latest data from Geostat, the price index for construction materials rose by 2.6% in June 2025, while construction works overall saw a 3.9% annual increase compared to June 2024.
The sharpest year-over-year price hikes were observed in electrical installation, water supply systems, and civil construction works, with increases of 12.4% and 9.6%.
In June alone, facing works rose by 2.5%, while prices for building construction and site preparation remained relatively stable, with only a 0.6% uptick.
