“Cooperation with Carrefour is no longer interesting for us”, - Tengiz Kapanadze, general director of McDonald’s Georgia has made this statement regarding the first international standard bakery Breadfield, which products are sold on the local market.
Kapanadze declares, that despite that Breadfield products are sold on several local chains, negotiations have failed with some presentative of retail sector.
“It is regrettable that large retail chains offer uninteresting cooperation terms. We have entered Agrohub, Spar and several other large retail chains, but cooperation with Carrefour is no longer interesting for us”, - Tengiz Kapanadze declared.
McDonald's opened the first international standard bakery "Breadfield" in Georgia in summer. The investment value totaled GEL 26 million and the enterprise employed over 30 persons at the first stage. However, after the increase of production, it will employ 100 persons.
