Georgian corn oil Karva appeared in supermarkets with a delay of 1 year. General Director of Karva, Giorgi Tabagari explains that production of Georgian corn oil was delayed to the pandemic. He declares that the company has been unable to bring foreign experts who would finish technical maintenance of the plant.
Today, the corn oil factory produces 50 tons of oil per month from raw materials obtained from local farmers and employs 25 people in Khobi.
Georgian corn oil is sold in AgroHub, Carrefour and Goodwill, which price totals to GEL 14 per liter. Karva plans to increase production in line with the demand growth.
