The British coffee house chain Costa Coffee is steadily expanding its presence in Georgia’s capital. After entering the market in May with its first branch at 10 Ilia Chavchavadze Avenue, the brand has since added two more locations, at 14 Aleksandre Kazbegi Avenue and inside the Axis Towers business center.
By the end of 2025, Costa Coffee will open its fourth branch in Saburtalo City Mall, strengthening its foothold in Tbilisi’s fast-growing coffee market. The brand’s official representative in Georgia, Sarda Group, says that next year will mark an even more active phase of expansion.
“As official representatives of Costa Coffee, together with our partner, we set a goal to make the high-standard product of an international brand available on the Georgian market. By the end of 2025, Costa Coffee will be represented in four locations in Tbilisi. Next year, new branches are planned, leading to active expansion and closer contact with customers,” the company told bm.ge.
The brand emphasizes that its success is built not only on the quality of its signature coffee blends, but also on the customer experience, from a comfortable interior design to attentive service. Currently, Costa Coffee employs 25 people in Georgia and is recruiting new staff as expansion continues.
Costa Coffee, founded in London in 1971 by Italian brothers Bruno and Sergio Costa, operates in more than 40 countries worldwide. Its Georgian menu features high-quality coffee, a range of hot and cold beverages, desserts, and a lunch menu tailored to international standards.
With Tbilisi’s coffee culture growing rapidly, Costa Coffee aims to carve out a strong position in the market and become a familiar brand for local customers.
