Countries Whose Citizens are Denied Entry to Georgia
In October in Georgia, over 700 persons were refused entry into the country. Among which the majority came from Iran. In particular, according to the data by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 429 citizens from Iran were refused entry into the country in one month. In second place is India with 260 refusals and in third place is Russia with 64 citizens being refused entry. In addition, 40 Uzbek and 38 Turkish citizens were also refused the entry into the country. In terms of deportation from Georgia, in October 14 people were deported from Georgia, among which were 5 Sri-Lankan, 3 Turkish, and 3 Azerbaijani citizens and one person from each of the following countries: Russia, Morocco, and Armenia.
