Culture Week Tbilisi will be held annually, focused on bringing together representatives of Georgian artists from different countries. The member of the supervisory board of "Coca-Cola Bottlers Georgia" Sofia Chkonia said about this in TV program "Women's Narrative".
According to her, the international festival Culture Week Tbilisi, held in Tbilisi in November 2022, responded to the current events in Ukraine and was held for the purpose of collaboration between Ukrainian and Georgian artists.
"The idea of creating Culture Week Tbilisi arose very spontaneously and in the future, it will become an annual event. This time the project was in response to the current events in Ukraine, it was created for Ukrainian and Georgian artists and their collaboration, it also had a charitable impact and overall, it turned out to be very effective, we fulfilled the main goal.
The exhibition was held in the former factory of "Coca-Cola" in Tbilisi, which after several years of efforts has become a space where artists have the opportunity to present their works freely, without any restrictions.
We hope that in 2023 Ukraine will already celebrate the victory and our project will be focused on collaboration with other countries", said Sofia Chkonia.
